NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery adorned 2,600 Christmas wreathes on tombstones this weekend in honor of 'Wreaths across America.'
Every year 'Wreaths Across America' decorates veterans' cemeteries to honor those who have served our country.
The wreaths are made possible by donations as well as truckers who donate their time to distribute the wreaths across the country.
At least one of the trucks bound for Idaho was delayed by bad weather this weekend, so only 2,600 wreaths have been placed so far.
Volunteers will be out again later this week to distribute the remaining 3,200 wreaths.
